City Life Church is a thriving, multi-generational, non-denominational charismatic church, alive with energy and passion for Jesus Christ.

What can I expect when I visit?

When you visit us for the first time on a Sunday morning, be ready for a great experience! Our two Sunday services begin at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Before each service, you are welcome to join us for pre-service prayer in our chapel just off the main lobby. Our cafe is open before and after each service for you to enjoy a latte, coffee or tea.

There are lots of friendly people here who will welcome you and help you get settled in the auditorium. Our worship times are powerful, vibrant and dynamic, incorporating singers, musicians, lighting and video. After a time of worship, Pastor Lorne preaches a practical and relevant message, equipping us to live lives full of purpose and destiny.

We know you'll enjoy the many different generations coming together as God's family, the atmosphere of freedom and joy, and the life-changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please visit the Welcome Centre in the lobby where you can ask any questions you may have, or find out more about any of our ministries or upcoming events.

Where can I park?

We have reserved parking available for visitors and those with disabilities at our main entrance. If our main parking lot is full, we also have additional parking available in the back and along the street on Chilliwack Central Road.

What is available for my kids?

One of our core values here at City Life Church is investing into the lives of the next generation. Our Kids Adventures program is geared toward meeting the needs of all our young ones, from the littlest newborn all the way to our sixth grade pre-teens.

Our supervised nursery facilities, for infants to two year olds, are open through both services. We also have a comfortable, private room for nursing moms. After our time of worship, our kids aged 3 to grade 6 are released to attend classes geared specifically for their age group.

How do I get there?

We have two entrances onto our campus, one on Chilliwack Central Road and another on Broadway. The main lobby is clearly labeled on the west side of the building and an additional entrance is located on the north side of the building.

Project Connect

On June 22, 2013, as part of City Life Centre's mission to "bring life to the city of Chilliwack through love, kindness, service, self-sacrifice and compassion," we completed PROJECT CONNECT BLITZ, a one day event where we served the city of Chilliwack through several simultaneous projects both on and off our campus:

  • We gave over 30 free oil changes, washed countless vehicles and served a hot dog lunch at our church location
  • Various teams transformed people's home inside and out with cleaning and landscaping - washing walls, window cleaning, shampooing carpets, weeding, hedge trimming, pruning, etc
  • Several teams revamped a couple of downtown office locations with weeding, pruning, power washing, windows, carpet cleaning, painting and shelf building
  • Our kitchen team made freezer meals for Connect parenting group in the fall

PROJECT CONNECT BLITZ was an amazing opportunity for people from our church show up to roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun and connect with people. We're excited to continue to look for ways to be involved in our community and demonstrate our love for the people of Chilliwack. Watch the video below for highlights from PROJECT CONNECT BLITZ:

In 2012, City Life Church and City Life Centre launched Project Connect with an objective to complete 50 unique acts of service that met a practical need for a person, family or group who were in our city but not connected to our church. Our larger goal was to teach ourselves to see and respond to the needs that were presented to us daily through our friends, family members, neighbours and co-workers. Through kindness, compassion and generosity, we would show the love of Jesus to others in our world in a simple and practical way.

Project Connect sparked a kindness revolution in our church family. People began to see, respond and create amazing opportunities to serve others in moments of their need. Some led to tearful conversations, prayerful moments and new friendships. Others were done quietly and anonymously. All were done to show the extravagant love of Jesus to those who do not know or serve Him. Although we did not meet our stated goal of 50 individual acts, the greater purpose of this unique endeavour was achieved. It changed us. It helped us see our world differently. It made us see that showing the love of Jesus to others isn't as difficult as we once thought. It inspired us to allow selfless service to be the bridge over which the message of the gospel crossed into peoples' lives and realities.

Project Connect is now officially completed, but the spirit and vision it birthed remains alive and growing in our hearts. Below are the documented accounts of our stories. We hope they inspire you to create some of your own.
